Alfred J. Bartelt, 91, of West Bend and Allenton passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on Friday, September 29, 2017.
Al was born on May 9, 1926. He was a member of the United States Air Force and was a member of the Allenton American Legion Post 483. Al married his dancing and roller skating partner Mavis Milbrath. They enjoyed 64 years together.
Al is survived by a son, James (Noreen) Bartelt; grandchildren, Karrie Bartelt of Ripon and Dawn (Matt) Bartell of West Bend; great grandchildren, Magen, Brianna, and Courtney; great-great grandchildren, Lorelei and Lilah; a sister-in-law, Donna Olsen, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mavis and a sister, Ruth (Ed) Tomczak.
Per his request, Al will have a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or Make A Wish Foundation are appreciated.
