Welcome to the memorial page for

Wesley A Pade

February 10, 1921 ~ July 25, 2015 (age 94) 94 Years Old

Wesley A. Pade, 94, of Lomira, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Fond du Lac.

He was born on February 10, 1921, in Lomira, the son of the late Albert and Agnes (Schwartz) Pade.  Wesley was baptized, confirmed and a life-long member and usher at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lomira.  He survived a terrifying fire in his family home in 1931 at the age of 10.  Wesley attended the 1 room District #9 Country School and was the only member of his class until he entered Lomira High School where he graduated in a class of 20.  On April 14, 1945, he was united in marriage to Marcella Mae "Sally" Schultz at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brownsville.

Wesley was treasurer for Country School District #9 until it consolidated with Lomira School District.  He also actively served the Town of Lomira for election polling for over 20 years.

Wesley along with his wife owned and operated Pade Farms, a Wisconsin Century Farm, in Lomira for 42 years from 1946 until 1988.  Pade Farms was established in the mid to late 1800's by his grandfather.  Wesley was a member of Dodge County Holstein Breeders.  Pade Farms sold classified registered Holsteins eligible for foreign export.  The farm received multiple awards for its registered-pure bread Holstein cattle.  Wesley was also a lifetime member of the State and National Chapters of the Holstein Association of America.  At the peak of his farming career in 1965, Pade Farms had one of the three highest classified cows in the United States and by that time, cows form his herd were being sold world-wide.

Wesley and Sally enjoyed traveling and they were able to see most of the United States, Canada and Europe.  Wesley enjoyed bowling, playing cards (Sheapshead) and fishing off the pier.  He especially enjoyed his Canadian fishing trips.  He rarely missed a Brewer, Packer or Bucks game when it was on the radio or TV.  Wesley treasured the friendships and activities during his last year at St. Francis Terrace.

Those Wesley leaves behind to cherish his memory include two children, Beverly (Mark) Feucht of Fond du Lac and Steve (Jane Gomery) Pade of Burlingame, California; four grandsons, Lieutenant Colonel Chad (Jennifer) Feucht of Anchorage, Alaska, Jeremy (Coleen) Feucht of Fond du Lac, Colin Pade and Russell Gomery both of San Francisco, California; four great-grandchildren, Hunter and Ariel Feucht both of Anchorage, Alaska and Grayson and Sianna Feucht both of Fond du Lac; a brother-in-law, Donald Mac Intosh of Menlo Park, California; a niece, Melissa Orlando of San Jose, California; a nephew, Ross Mac Intosh of Menlo Park California, many other friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Albert and Agnes Pade, Wesley was preceded in death by a sister, Dr. Shirley Mac Intosh and his loving wife of 64 years, Marcella Pade.

A service for Wesley will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lomira with Rev. Matthew Kiecker officiating.  A private family entombment will be held on Friday at Ledgeview Memorial Park.

Wesley's family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church or Agnesian Health Care Foundation.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at St. Francis Terrace for their personal and loving care given to their father during his stay.
