I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Stan's passing. I have great memories of him. One of the most recent is when he and Aunt Marianne came to visit in Utah. I had just moved from California into my new house in Utah. Uncle Stan spent a whole day at my house fixing all the little things that you find after you move in to a new place, like a bathtub faucet handle that is pointing the wrong direction. Uncle Stan was always so generous and helpful. I will always remember his laugh, especially when he was with his brother Dick and sister Carol (my Mom). They could always make each other laugh. May God be with you and comfort you Aunt Marianne, Kathy and Sherry and family during this difficult time.
I Love You,
Beth

I am so sorry for your loss Marianne and family. I use to love listening to Stan's laugh when visiting with Ralph and June. May God's loving embrace carry you all through this very difficult time.

To my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and wife:
I have shared a large portion of my life with you and Stan and he will be most remembered by me as a man driven to care for his own Mother when he was a young man and later to constantly provide for his own family.
The sometimes difficult experiences in his life shaped his thinking . My prayers have always been for Stan to realize that Jesus has indeed watched Stan as he went through the delights and heartaches of his life and has always waited for Stan to reach out to Him for the comfort that salvation brings. And Lord I know you are always good , so I trust you touched Stan's heart when he needed you most.
While we will always laugh when we see a two dollar bill or hold in our hands the "duplicate" hand tools we all got...we will remember your. Heart for your family and friends.

I had the pleasure of knowing Stan for over 15 years. And those years of knowing Stan were never better for me. Stan was a Mans Man..he never let up with his perseverance, his gratitude, his omnipotence of knowing life. Yes, Stan knew not only life but the love of life...he loved my small children along with Marianne...Together Stan and Maryanne showed me how life should be. They showed me and my children true love of life and of us. I remember how Stan would ride around on his lawn mowing tractor...making sure the grass was cut to perfection..it did not matter if the grass was only one inch longer than it should be...Stan was going to get it done...and get it done he always did, no excuses for anything less! This was the life of Stan..no excuses . I recall one day being with Stan as his hands were hurting after 10 or more hours of working in his yard..he asked me .."what can I do, I need my hands to continue to ..work ?" And I was so remiss to even try to say , you have to rest, you have to stop..doing what you love...but I could not and did not because I knew Stan would not ever stop, never relinquish , never even consider this . This is why Stan is the Mans Man...never stopping...never relinquishing defeat...that was never going to be Stan. I love you and miss you Stan, you have shown the world what it is to be a true and strong and exemplary man. Stan , the strong and steadfast , the tough yet gentle, the true man .Thank you Stan , for showing me what it is to be , a true man! I can only hope, to be as great as you for my children.
