Our condolences, thoughts & prayers go out to the Ronald Loomis Family . We remember Ron as a good Husband & Father, as well as being a hardworking man when we were neighbors while living in Barton. Very talented person as it seemed like he could fix anything. God Bless!

Ron was a "git er done" kind of guy. For many years, after he finished his shift at Gehl Co, he would come to Mathis Music and deliver pianos and organs to our customers. I think the year was 1978. It was Dec. 24 and we had 15 or 16 instruments to be delivered that day as family Christmas gifts. There was a lot of snow that year, many of the sidewalks had not been shoveled, so the guys had to carry the heavy pianos into the house. And then, at 4:30 in the afternoon, someone came in and bought a heavy, player piano. I think the guys worked until 7PM that night finishing deliveries. Ron will be missed!
