Laura B. (nee Tasse) Griffith, 68, of Lomira, was called home on Monday, December 5, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 20, 1948, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (nee Schackel) Tasse. Laura was united in marriage to James Griffith in 1968. James preceded in Laura in death on February 9, 1995.
Laura loved life and had many passions.
Those Laura leaves behind to cherish her memory include her significant other, Jack Griffith; four children, Dawn Mason of Milwaukee, James (fiancé Kim Allen) Griffith of Sun Prairie, Gregory (Jennifer) Griffith of Cudahy and Sandra (William) Wink of Lomira; loving grandchildren; two sisters, Marge (Bob) Sturdevant and Delores (Larry) Flemmer; two brothers, Eugene (Audrey) Tasse and David Tasse; two sisters-in-law, Joann Griffith and Mona Griffith; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Laura was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan (Joe) Greco and Mary Foss and three brothers, Austin Tasse, Neal Tasse, and Frank Tasse.
Private family services are being held at a later date.
The Griffith family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Heartland Hospice, RN Erin Schneider, Mona Griffith, Joann Griffith, Jennifer Griffith, Kim Allen and Delores Flemmer for all the wonderful care and support they provided to Laura.
