Harold “Harry” M. Burkhardt, 87, of West Bend, found peace on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home.
He was born on May 4, 1929 to the late Harold and Marie (nee Zartner) Burkhardt in Milwaukee. On May 7, 1949 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Miller in Milwaukee. Together Harry and Carrie raised their four children. Harry was a hard worker and was self-employed for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Those Harry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Carrie Burkhardt; four children, Lynn (Dean) Connor, Steve Burkhardt, Jan (Don) Fariss, and Katie (John) Durbin; 10 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Burhardt.
A private family service will be held on a later date.
