Christopher “Chris” J. Holz, 53, of Saukville, passed away on August 20, 2015 at Community Memorial Hospital, Menomonee Falls.
He was born on July 27, 1962 in Fond Du Lac, WI. Chris drove semi / dump trucks his entire life. He was currently employed at Kruepke Trucking and worked at West Bend Transit previous to that.
He is survived by his best friend Wendye Girard, her daughter Jenae (Austin) Behnke and his granddaughter Brooklyn, his mother, Beverly (Dale) Gavin; three sisters, Corrie (Fiancé Chris), Cindy (Fiancé Ray), and Mandi Holz; one brother, Chad (fiancé Sue); five step-siblings; many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
He loved the Packers, NASCAR and Winged Sprint Car racing. He loved all pets especially his German Shepard, Taz. Chris was always the life of the party and the quickest with one liners.
Chris would always give the shirt off his back if someone was in need and continued giving after his death with life enhancing donations.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
A special thank you from the family to all the emergency medical personnel that helped Chris.
He is now waving the checkered flag in Heaven.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, (1315 W. Washington St.) West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
Casual attire welcomed especially Packer or Race gear!
