Bernice E. Hoepner, 79, of West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 19, 2017 at The Waterford at West Bend.
She was born on March 9, 1938 to the late Norbert and Florence (nee Ehlers) Hoepner in the Town of Herman. She graduated from Mayville High School. Bernice liked the outdoors, gardening, traveling and going on cruises. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, and reading. Bernice was a fan of the Packers and Brewers. She enjoyed volunteering at the Marine Historical Society in Milwaukee for many years. She was a kind person and included everybody in conversations. Bernice loved to spend time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Those Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three sisters, Marlene Pamperin, Lucille Hoepner, and Marilyn (Michael) Keller; two brothers, John (Bev) Hoepner and Jim (Brenda) Hoepner; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ken Hoepner and her brother-in-law, Raymond Pamperin.
A memorial service in remembrance of Bernice will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
